Your new role
An opportunity has opened for an experienced OT to join our multidisciplinary team supporting children in the northern suburbs of Brisbane with the option to base yourself at our Wooloowin and North Lakes offices or your home office. This position will be perfect for someone with assistive technology, and home and vehicles modification experience. Xavier’s main focus is paediatrics, however, this position also provides AT supports for adults. There is also the opportunity to provide hands-on therapy if desired.
About you
To be successful in your new role you will possess:
- Recognised tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration & Medicare provider number (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with prescribing assistive technology
- Experience with home and vehicle modifications will be highly regarded
- Strong clinical and non-clinical problem-solving skills
- A client centred approach that is both professional and empathetic
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of our multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Meet suitability requirements including a current police check
- Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Completion of NDIS Code of Conduct modules
