Their much loved and respected Chief Executive Officer is moving on and we are seeking interest from candidates to fill her formidable shoes.

Reporting to a dynamic, skills-based Board, this role requires, vision, ambition, creativity, energy, and presence. With a high performing team in place and a track record of sector leadership, innovation, and dedication to backing people to thrive, the next CEO will need to pick up the baton and continue the momentum.

As a key leader in Logan, one of the fastest growing areas in the country, you will advocate for the organisation, sector and community and drive sector reform. The ideal candidate is an accomplished senior executive with emotional intelligence, passion for supporting vulnerable people, and highly experienced in organisational leadership, management, and governance. You will have a proven capability to build a strong culture through inspirational people leadership and bring multi-level stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and advocacy skills to elevate key conversations. You will also demonstrate an understanding and commitment to the voice of First Nations people and respectful relationships with leaders, communities, and organisations.

To be successful you will:

• Be a leader (either current CEO or senior executive) in the community sector
• Evidence values-led, person-centred organisational leadership
• Have a deep knowledge of, and relevant networks in government, research institutions and the sector
• Have domain expertise in services delivery in social services, or similar
• Understand the process of, and have secured funding from a variety of sources
• Have exceptional visionary and inspirational interpersonal skills and be equally comfortable engaging 1:1 or in front of large audiences
• Understand firsthand the risk, governance, financial, commercial, compliance and contractual obligations
• Have experience reporting to a Board
