Youth Projects are on the hunt for an amazing Compliance Guru to join our training team. We provide training and assessment in Individual Support; AOD and Mental Health to those working in the industry and to those looking to enter new work. We are Skills First funded and also a Learn Local organisation with ACFE funding!
About the Role
The primary role of the RTO Compliance Officer is to provide best practise compliance and administrative support to staff and students of MTO.
Working closely with the RTO Leader, this role requires:
- Previous experience working in a compliance role for a Skills First funded RTO.
- A working knowledge of ASQA/VRQA legislation particularly around RTO obligations for funding arrangements.
- Experience and Knowledge of SVTS and upload processes.
- Previous experience operating a Student Management System (eg, Axcelerate/VETtrak) within the vocational training sector.
- Strong customer focused approach and ability to create a warm, welcoming environment for students.
- Highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and to change priorities as the need arises.
- Proficient in MS office and the ability to present information in varying formats.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workload.
What we need from you:
- Maintain and assist in the development of our RTO policies, information systems and processes.
- Ensure enrolment and student administrative documentation is accurate, compliant and timely.
- Maintain the data in the Student Management system, undertake monthly uploads, ensuring data is accurate, compliant and timely.
- Undertake program administration to ensure contractual compliance is maintained.
- Prepare contract documentation for regulatory and funding bodies.
- Undertake internal audits of the funding and regulatory compliance for the RTO, ensuring non-conformances are actioned in a timely fashion.
- Work closely with students and staff to problem solve within your knowledge of compliance requirements.
This role is a part-time position, which can be undertaken over 4 or 5 days.
