About the Role

Your Side is recruiting a new position to assist organisations to prepare for and deliver the expected outcomes of the new Aged Care reforms following the Aged Care Royal Commission.

This role suits an individual who is passionate about facilitating change and building capacity in organisations to deliver on the vision and purpose of aged care.

The Aged Care Learning Facilitator responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating annual sector learning needs
• Establishing a sector wide learning plan and coordinate trainers, venues and promotion of training
• Facilitate and disseminate information to aged care workers and people over 65 years about the Aged Care System
• Develop and disseminate information related to best practice aged care
• Support organisations and their workforce through the development and facilitation of learning materials related to the new Support at Home program.

About You

The successful candidate has experience in aged care and training coordination/facilitation.

You are passionate about improving outcomes in the quality of aged care and believe that capacity building of the care workforce is fundamental to driving change.

You will enjoy working alongside and with other aged and community care providers and are able to design, coordinate and deliver interesting content direct to aged and community care workforce.
