We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our growing organisation on a full-time basis. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and provides financial insights to support management in good decision making and assessment of organisational performance. Responsibilities will include supervising the accounts payable function, assisting in the preparation of all financial reporting and processing the fortnightly payroll.

About You:

• Strong knowledge and experience of Australian accounting standards.
• Good understanding of standard accounting practices.
• Strong excel skills with the ability to create robust and reliable spreadsheets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial data to non-finance staff.
• Experience with accounting software.
