yourtown’s Mind 4 Kids Program delivers free, short-term psychological services and care co-ordination for children aged to 12 years with moderate mental health issues. The program is delivered within a stepped care approach and works in an integrated and collaborative manner with wraparound supports. It is provided on site and via outreach e.g. in schools.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a reputable service that has a range of programs in the child and family space, and is well connected with the community.
We are seeking a Clinical Lead – Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker to provide clinical guidance to a multidisciplinary team and actively respond to and manage incoming referrals, screening and intakes. Responsibilities will include:
You will have qualifications and relevant registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, or Mental Health Social Worker with AASW. You will have at least 5 years’ experience providing psychological therapies for children and their families, and demonstrated experience in clinical assessment and case planning. Experience supervising Psychologists, Social Workers and other allied health workers clinical practice is essential.
