The Aboriginal Art Centre Hub of Western Australia (AACHWA) advocates on behalf of its member art centres located in regional and remote Western Australia. AACHWA delivers professional development programs for managers, boards, and artists; provides recruitment advice and services; and acts as an advocate to, and central point of contact for, Regional, State and Federal funding bodies.
We are seeking an Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Perth office in a full-time fixed term (12-month) capacity. This role entails handling the day-to-day office administration, reception, general enquiries, member communications, assisting and working closely with administration staff in support of Executive & project team travel and logistics and support the operations team with office management.
The Administration Assistant will assist and work closely with the Executive Assistant to support governance processes of the organisation, executive and board travel, and meeting logistics.
This is an Aboriginal identified position that is covered under Section 51 of the Western Australian Equal Opportunity Act 1984.
Handle incoming phone and email enquiries plus other front desk duties, such as checking post, receiving deliveries and working from the reception desk to greet all visitors.
Be responsible for the upkeep of office amenities and supplies, including keeping materials organised, ordering new supplies, and responding to staff needs.
Providing administrative support at a high level to project and operational teams
Assist marketing team with maintenance of the CRM and developing and publishing content for AACHWA social media, website, and EDMs.
Assist with travel bookings and planning for AACHWA staff, board members, consultants, artists and art centre members.
Assist with event planning, venue booking, and catering for AACHWA meetings and events.
Provide assistance to AACHWA stakeholders such as driving, technical assistance, and catering as required.
Friendly and professional direct liaison with AACHWA members and other stakeholders.
