Asian Australians for Climate Solutions is an ACNC registered charity dedicated to promoting sustainable and impactful climate action within the Asian Australian community. We aim to create a vibrant network of individuals and organisations committed to addressing climate change.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dynamic Community Organiser to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have a strong connection to the Chinese/Vietnamese Australian community and a passion for climate action. This casual role (minimum 1 day per week) is perfect for someone who wants to make a significant impact with flexible hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage with Chinese / Vietnamese communities in Australia to inform and promote climate solutions initiatives.
• Assist in organising and running events and campaigns to promote our initiatives.
• Collaborate with the broader team to support overall organisational goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.

Location: Melbourne

Employment Type: Casual; minimum 8 hours per week (Flexibility in working outside standard office hours will be required)

Contract Duration: 4 months (extendable)

Remuneration: $27 - $35 per hour weekdays (casual loading will be applied for weekends)
