ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Surrey Hills, VIC

Employment Type: Full time/ Fixed Term (3 Months) 0.8FTE negotiable

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, (dependent on experience) plus super and NFP salary packaging

As our current Operations Executive Assistant is in a secondment to grow their career in an exciting project, a rare opportunity is now available for a proactive and organised professional with a passion for customer service to support our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the broader Operations service. Due to the project this role is initially 3 months, however it has a potential to be extended.

Our Operations Executive Assistant plays a major part in ensuring our COO’s client focused ideas are deliverable, via efficient workflow management and task prioritisation, correspondence management, and effective scheduling.

This is an exceptionally rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with others, as you will have the opportunity to interact with all departments within Able Australia, as you facilitate smooth communication and build strong relationships with staff, stakeholders, and clients

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

  • Demonstrated experience at an Executive Assistant professional level or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects to achieve outcomes, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Initiative to anticipate work requirements and resolve potential issues, minimizing impact on the Executive and Managers' time
  • Productive, deadline-driven, and efficient, with great attention to detail
  • Strong gatekeeping, diary management, and time management skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. With the ability to accurately record meeting minutes, and to build and maintain effective collaborative relationships with staff, executive, Board members, and external stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
