In spring 2024, Able Australia will be running a camp over 2 days, in regional Victoria. Deafblind people from across Australia will be supported to attend. The camp is designed to reduce isolation, raise awareness, build new community and, support networks and friendships as well as improve the mental and physical health of people who are deafblind.
The camp is designed to support client participation through evidence-based initiatives and inclusive activities that build capacity, skills, independence, confidence and connection for people with deafblindness.
Your role, based at Able’s National Office, will be to plan and deliver the project on time, working with Able’s Manager of Deafblind Services to ensure that it is tailored to the unique and individual complex communication and support needs of participants.

Location: National Office in Surrey Hills, VIC
Employment Type: Fixed Term (until 30 April 2024) / Part-time (1 day a week)
Salary: $41.52 per hour
