about the opportunity

This is a fascinating, innovative project that combines small-group work education (AQF Level 1 courses) with stimulating work experiences across a broad range of industries. Your small group of young neurodiverse adults (Autism or mild intellectual disability) will work under your guidance two days per week as they undertake industry placements and accredited general work education training.

You will work as part of a project team to build their capacity, employability, confidence and self esteem. This is serious fun and madly rewarding.

Part-time, casual or contractor - your choice. Mondays and Tuesdays 9am to 4pm. Corio and North Geelong locations. Early Feb start through to mid Dec.

Must haves:

Current TAE, WWC, Police check and disability experience.

Desirables:

Specialist education background, Supported work education background.
