ABOUT THE ROLE

The Account Manager is the key contact and Outsourced CFO for a portfolio of not for profit clients - the go-to person for advice on technical and strategic financial matters, supporting budget and audit and providing assistance with best practice finance processes.

Onboarding of new clients and short term projects are also part of the Account Manager’s remit.

Supported by the AFG accounting team, the Account Manager ensures that our clients have the financial information they need, when they need it. This position joins a stable team of NFP accounting specialists and will inherit a small portfolio of clients along with capacity for growth.

The role is full-time with flexibility for the right candidate.

The position reports to the Co CEO.

For over 25 years Accounting For Good has been supporting our NFP clients with financial management expertise so they can focus on delivering their organisation’s mission. Accounting For Good was established by not for profit leaders who felt the gap in their finance departments and built our service to help build capacity across the sector.

We work only with not for profit organisations, supporting them to operate, report and plan effectively. We see ourselves as partners with our clients as they strive to achieve their mission, and take pride in providing high quality financial information to assist decision-making. We get the nuance of being a non-profit, and especially understand what boards need to know, and what managers need to understand, in order to make sound decisions.

AFG works flexibly between home and our dedicated office in WeWork's newest Sydney hub at 320 Pitt Street - sometimes we come together in the office but much of the time the team works super-productively from home.
