The Aboriginal Community Elders Services (A.C.E.S.) is the only Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisation is in an urban setting which provides all three aged care programs from the one site:
The Aboriginal Community Elders Service (ACES), in Brunswick avidly seek enthusiastic people to offer their assistance in a volunteer capacity to offer support to the Volunteer Program Coordinator with Residents programs and activities to stimulate their mental, physical, and emotional well-being whilst promoting independence and quality of life and working effectively within ACES Policy and Procedures, and OH&S guidelines.
ACES is located close to CERES Community Environment Park. ACES provides a range of care services to Aboriginal Elders, including planned activity groups, hostel accommodation, a nursing home and a home care package program. Aboriginal values and respect for Elders are the guiding principles.
Our vision to see the provision of ACES services continue to improve and expand through constant attention to high standards of service delivery for our Elders that will be recognised throughout our community.
