As the Learning and Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with various client groups to drive a learning culture that aligns with Achieve Australia’s strategic and workforce plan. Working closely with the Organisational Development team, you will be responsible for coordinating and enhancing management and leadership capabilities across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Chief People Officer and other executives to build and implement Learning and Development solutions in line with organisational strategy and workforce plan.
  • Develop and implement effective learning and development policies, practices, processes and programs to meet organisational needs.
  • Oversee the development of learning programs including scoping, sourcing, developing and delivery of training modules.
  • Embed effective processes for continuous improvement of the learning and development function.
  • Develop and implement effective and wholistic employee induction and orientation programs that enhance employee experience.
  • Drive a culture of learning, linking both formal and informal learning to build workforce capability and performance outcomes.
  • Liaise with Organisational Development team to implement leadership and management program in alignment with Achieve’s Passion, Purpose, Principle and our intentional culture
  • Work with the PPC management team to build learning function maturity and learning services.
  • Manage the learning needs analysis process and evaluation of learning solutions and related interventions to ensure workforce capability and performance uplift.
  • Oversee the reporting of learning programs and activities.
  • Develop and oversee learning catalogue and calendar and provision of learning and training opportunities across the organisation.
  • Develop effective framework to evaluate learning effectiveness and take proactive steps to enhance it.
  • Facilitate learning and training solutions, courses and programs as required.

About You:

You are an experienced Learning and Development professional with a proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies. You excel in navigating and influencing diverse stakeholders, and you thrive in environments where you can drive change and foster continuous improvement and innovative learning solutions. Your ability to deliver face-to-face training is essential to this role, as you will be directly engaging with various teams to ensure effective learning outcomes.
