We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Management Office Lead to join our team.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Project Management Office Lead is responsible for enhancing and maintaining effective project management practices, ensuring successful project delivery.

This role involves implementing a Project Management Office, providing expert support, training and guidance on project management processes to internal stakeholders, and providing project portfolio reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support project teams in detailed project planning, resource scheduling, quality, and cost management.
  • Introduce, standardise, and automate project management practices across the organisation.
  • Track, report, and provide advice on risks, progress, and performance of projects.
  • Ensure early intervention to address risk, escalate issues, and stress the importance of good project governance.
  • Enhance project governance to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Lead change management processes to transition projects to operations.
  • Implement post-implementation reviews (PIR), project portfolio reporting, and ensure projects align with strategic initiatives, annual budgets, and Business Unit Plans.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in project management and establishing PMO practices.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools, methods, and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to raise the maturity of the project management capacity and capability across the organisation.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
  • Ability to use and train others to use Microsoft 365 Suite, including Microsoft Project
