Probably the best way to describe it is by explaining a typical week…after you have completed the leadership training with ACNA.
Your typical week will then include:
Throughout work you will be contributing to the future reforms in aged care using your daily work and the feedback you provide that will be shared with the Department of Health and Aged Care. Helping us to challenge the status quo and look for ways to make an even bigger impact.
And of course you will be participating in recruitment, induction and training to ensure everyone has great learning experiences!
You are a great collaborator and ‘connector of people’. You love communicating and coaching and have dreamt of a role that gives you the chance to expand your leadership potential. You are also a great clinician and ready to spend your days focussed on leading a team that conducts assessments that represents the voice and needs of an older person.
People will have called you all sorts of different names. Authentic. Fun. Genuine. Brilliant. Approachable. A little bit cheeky. Helpful. Caring. Lovely. Relentless.
In your spare time we’re likely to find you daydreaming about new ways to create an impact on people’s lives.
We have a recruitment process full of activities so you can try the role on for size. To help you consider your suitability for this role, we have included the Position Description. There are minimum qualification requirements (Social Worker, OT, Physio or RN and registered with AHPRA or AASW), and it is important that you have at least one year of experience working in aged care or with older people.
Hear from your future colleagues about how they joined ACNA and what they value about their role in our little ACNA Podcast Intro on Spotify!
Simply answer the survey we have created to collect all the necessary information by clicking Apply Now. No letter or response to selection criteria is required, but do be ready to attach your CV. Without the Typeform, your application will not be received and therefore not processed.
Once we receive your application we will contact you about the next stages of the process – usually within a week but it could be faster! Our recruitment process is a little different to most. We use lots of activities to give you an opportunity to understand how we work and your typical day. We start to get to know you through your application, then we move into group video discussions (GVDs) and end the process with a few hours of activities so you can show us what you are made of.
We are ready to welcome you to ACNA!
