We are seeking a motivated Events and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent organisational and communication skills. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events while also contributing to our marketing initiatives. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence, engaging our target audience, and ensuring seamless event execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and Engagement & Support Manager, the Events & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Event Planning and Execution: Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, budgeting, and on-site coordination. Plan and execute events such as seminars, workshops, conferences, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns. Assist in creating compelling content for social media, email marketing, and other channels to promote events and engage the target audience.
- Promotions and Outreach: Conduct outreach efforts to drive attendance and participation in events.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including design, education and marketing, to align event and marketing strategies with overall business goals. Foster strong relationships to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
- Registration and Attendee Management: Manage attendee lists, and communicate event details to participants. Provide exceptional customer service to attendees before, during, and after events.
- Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, assess the success of events, and identify areas for improvement. Use insights to refine future event and marketing strategies.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as maintaining event calendars, preparing materials, and managing event-related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in event planning and execution (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software/tools.
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Hours:
15 hours per week (can be split across days if needed). Please note, that in the lead-up to an event you may be required to work additional paid hours. Flexibility is required.
Remote work - must be based in Melbourne for events.
Salary based on experience.
