About the Position

We are seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in an integrated therapy setting, delivering quality care to children, young people, and families. This role will strengthen and expand Act for Kids’ Integrated Services on the Sunshine Coast by building key partnerships to support the growth and sustainability of the service within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality outcomes for children, young people and their carers/families within a culture focused on performance, sustainability and growth.
  • Respond and manage referrals into the service, intake, waitlist management and allocation to Therapists.
  • Provide line and clinical (where applicable) supervision and leadership for team members, with a focus on practice excellence and performance.
  • Oversee the professional practice of the team.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in allied health, human services or community services.
  • At least two years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or experienced abuse and neglect, or at least two years’ experience working in similar roles.
  • Experience leading and building a strong, cohesive and high-performing team within a human services context is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability in program budget management, monitoring and reporting.
  • Experience identifying and building strategic stakeholder relationships and building extensive local knowledge and networks.

Other Requirements

  • Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
