With over 25 centres nationally, we have supported thousands of children and their families for more than 30 years. In 2021 - 2022 we provided services to 39,002 people, including over 23,000 children.

About the job

We are seeking a Full-Time Program Manager to join our caring, compassionate and friendly team in Rockhampton until 30 June 2025.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to deliver high quality outcomes within a performance planning and development culture.
  • Manage risk for children and families working with the IFS.
  • Implement and monitor the use of the shared practice framework and needs assessment processes.
  • Oversee the professional practice of the team.
  • Conduct case consultations with all members of the team.
  • Actively participate in the Local Level Alliance and other sector meetings to develop integrated service delivery for families.

About you

  • Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, human services).
  • Professional registration (if required).
  • Membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).
  • At least five years’ experience working with children and families, preferably with time spent working within a trauma-informed framework.
  • Relevant experience supervising staff in similar role.
  • Honesty and professionalism, with a respect for our clients and customers.
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultures.

About the pay

  • Position is classified Level 8 under the SCHCADS award.
  • Salary range is $113,787 - $118,266 per annum plus superannuation
  • In addition, as a registered Not for Profit/Charity, we offer excellent salary packaging options through RemServ which can significantly increase your take home pay.

Other requirements

  • Eligibility for a positive Working with Children Check in the applicable state of employment in Australia or exemption based on professional qualifications and registration.
  • Current driver’s licence.
