About the Position

We are looking to welcome a Service Evaluation and Grants Coordinator to lead social impact research, the preparation of high-quality funding applications, and evaluation on Act for Kids initiatives.

  • Part-time permanent 0.8FTE / 60.8h fn.
  • Negotiated Salary + Super + Salary Sacrifice.
  • Flexible hybrid working – work between home and our Milton office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to implement the Impact Measurement Framework and Social suite which will be the core data collection tool for outcomes and impact measurement, evaluation, and research.
  • Oversee the technical setup, configuration, and ongoing management of impact software.
  • Undertake sound analysis of qualitative and quantitative data using tools such as JASP, Excel, Power BI etc and make rational judgements from the available information.
  • Write impact and research reports and presentations based on research and evaluation findings.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., research, psychology).
  • Relevant experience in research and evaluation design, program logic models, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, report, and grant writing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and conducting quantitative social research, including a sound understanding of research design, data collection, data analysis, data analytic tools, data interpretation and reporting.
  • High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write quality project reports, grant applications, academic journal and conference papers, and popular articles.

Other Requirements

  • Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
