Adaptability Therapy is a friendly and progressive multi-disciplinary allied health team in South-East QLD committed to providing comprehensive services for children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities. We provide a range of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Pathology services to people of all ages, from infants up to those who are ageing.
Starting from day one you will enjoy a highly flexible workplace with autonomy and an un-paralleled work-life balance. Our team benefits from a wealth of opportunities to collaborate and learn from each other, as well as from structured development and training opportunities. At Adaptability therapy we pride ourselves on our fantastic team culture and the opportunities we have available to grow into leadership roles within our team.
An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced DeputyTeam Leader - Paediatric Occupational Therapy to join our team, working with a diverse caseload and an engaged and passionate team of allied health professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a leadership position and with a passion for working with children as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be working closely with the Team Leader to support the development of the Occupational Therapists within the team, and build capability across the service. You will enjoy working on a range of service development initiatives, along with providing supervision and mentoring for other team members.
This is a position where your demonstrated experience as a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist with leadership experience will be put to full use in developing those around you to thrive. You will maintain a caseload along with contributing to quality improvement, service development and day to day leadership, along with providing mentoring and support for our Paediatric Occupational Therapists.
Established in Queensland and locally owned and operated, Adaptability Therapy has developed a reputation as a high quality provider of multi-disciplinary allied health services supporting people to enhance their independence, mobility, function and happiness.
Our clients typically have complex needs in both physical and psychosocial disabilities and may reside in their own homes, boarding houses, residential aged care and supported independent living facilities across South East Queensland.
Our vision is clear: To enable equitable access to high quality, best practice allied health input to our clients across the community. This includes servicing disenfranchised and vulnerable population groups, as well as complex clients who would benefit from a coordinated approach by experienced clinicians.
To achieve this, we have invested in an exceptionally talented and experienced team of clinicians.
We have a commitment to our values, and they:
We hold hope for the people we support, and believe in the intrinsic value of hope to provide strength for people to overcome barriers and challenges to realise the future they want for themselves.
We stand up or what is right, boldly challenge convention and advocate for those we support with confidence and strength.
We embrace the opportunity to think outside of the box and explore a world of possibilities.
We accept and honour the uniqueness, abilities, life experiences and diversity of all people, and act with integrity and honesty.
We stand side-by-side with those we support, and build partnerships by listening and following through on our commitments.
