About the Roles

Support Coordinator

In this you'll be a vital link for NDIS participants, assisting in plan implementation, fostering community connections, and maximizing support value. Your role involves assessing options, negotiating services, working with participants to effectively communicate with the NDIA all while working with your participants to build their capacity and achieve their NDIS goals.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, or related field.
  • Commitment to the Code of Conduct and human rights principles.
  • Strong understanding of person-centred practice.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
  • Excellent administrative skills and computer literacy.
  • Values-Centric Approach.
  • Driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Blue card, Yellow Card (or be able to obtain)

Hours and place of work

We're seeking the ideal team member and are open to accommodating your capacity and experience. Whether you prefer full-time, part-time, or starting casually with room to grow, we're flexible to find the right fit for both you and our team.

You can work remotely or at our Nambour office. However, the role also being able entails meeting clients at their preferred locations.

Psychosocial Recovery Coach

You will play a vital role in assisting participants with complex cognitive needs, to exercise choice and control over their NDIS plans. Our approach involves applying supported decision-making principles, ensuring accountability, transparency, and evidence-based practices. You will work alongside participants, support networks, and service providers to develop and implement personalized recovery plans, utilising your expertise in mental health and recovery. Be a catalyst for positive change, promoting capacity-building activities to build capacity for participants to manage their own supports effectively.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant mental health field.
  • Proven experience in psychosocial recovery coaching or a related role.
  • Knowledge of NDIS Quality Indicators 64 and 65.
  • Strong understanding of supported decision-making principles.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
  • Experience and training in working with people with trauma.
  • Familiarity with NDIS processes.
  • Commitment to ongoing collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and proactive feedback collection.
  • Adherence to relevant legislation, policies, and quality frameworks in the disability and mental health sectors.
  • Driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Blue card, Yellow Card (or be able to obtain)
