Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.
The MSBase Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that owns and operates the MSBase and MGBase Registries. Both are global, web-based registries that collect de-identified data on people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Myasthenia Gravis (MG) and other neuro-immunological diseases (NIDs). Their purpose is to facilitate international, collaborative research, to ultimately improve the quality of care for patients. The small and vibrant MSBase Operations team support the daily operational, financial and IT activities of the business, led by a dedicated Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer who are also practising neurologists. The MSBase office is housed in the Monash Central Clinical School (CCS) within the Alfred Centre. The MSBase Foundation is a dynamic and highly successful organisation. The MSBase registry is the world’s largest global repository of longitudinal, ‘real-world’ MS patient data and the MGBase registry is the first of its kind.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique and highly regarded organisation whose business drives ground-breaking research in MS and other NIDs. The Membership & Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our members to effectively engage with the registry platform and take advantage of the many benefits of membership. You will manage new membership requests and assist members with the onboarding process. You will work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure members are compliant with MSBase Foundation governance documentation. You’ll provide members with research and operational support and spearhead quarterly communications to our global membership base, keeping our investigators motivated and informed. Additionally, you will support internal and external committee meetings, working with a variety of stakeholders. This is a varied role with flexible working arrangements. You will be supported by a dedicated team where your opinion matters.
Submit your application with a resume and cover letter, responding to the essential skills criteria. For more information about the role, please refer to the Position Description attached.
All enquiries to: Charlotte Sartori, MSBase Head of Operations on 0422 747 156.
