We have two Fundraising Associate positions available (one part time 0.6 FTE and the other full time 1 FTE). These roles are a great start for someone looking for a career in fundraising and human rights!

These dynamic positions will provide essential support in acquiring and retaining financial supporters, with a strong focus on the Face-to-Face and Telemarketing acquisition campaigns, as well as the Appeals program.

This is an exciting contract opportunity, offering a chance to develop valuable fundraising skills and deepen your knowledge of donor engagement, all while contributing to impactful human rights work

This role is responsible for:

• Provide administrative support to the Individual Giving Team including invoice processing, expense management and reconciliation, and basic reporting
• Conduct regular quality assurance on acquisition campaigns, for example listening to calls and providing feedback and coordinating a regular mystery shopping program to ensure best practice face to face fundraising
• Project support for the appeals program, including content gathering and research, creative briefing, personalisation of communications and checking print proofs
• Assist with data selections, imports and exports
• Assist with facilitating fundraiser training across Australia - in person or virtually
• Assist with developing briefing documents for suppliers including updates on Amnesty’s human rights wins
• Produce and deliver communications as relevant to the role, including copywriting and design, using a range of channels and technologies

You will have:

• Marketing, fundraising or other relevant higher education qualifications
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience in telemarketing and/or direct marketing
• High level communication and interpersonal skills (written, face to face, telephone, social media), ideally with experience in a not-for-profit environment
• Excellent presentation skills and confidence in communication
• Strong ability to manage data, utilising Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work to timelines and across competing priorities
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with rights holders

The salary for this position is $83,461 pro rata, plus super.
