  • Salary range at $106,300 to $111,000 (depending upon qualifications and experience) + superannuation + generous salary packaging benefits of up to $18,500.

Who we’re looking for

A leader who is passionate about working with young people, who believes in young people and their aspirations, utilising self-determination theory and Advantaged thinking. A leader who will bring enthusiasm and energy in the role.

The achievement of Foyer accreditation presents the opportunity to create, develop and maintain a genuine client voice within the Foyer. The Team leader will take the lead in developing the client voice in collaboration with Anchor’s Quality and Evaluation Manager.

One of Anchor’s aims is to develop and grow its reach in addressing youth homelessness including the Foyer space. This is an exciting role for someone who has experience or knowledge of working within a Foyer-like environment to help us achieve our aim of providing services to more young people.

This is the perfect role if you are agile and outcomes driven. If you enjoy developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government and local organisations to seek opportunities for your clients, then this may be the role for you.
You will have the opportunity to lead a team of committed professionals, utilising your coaching skills which are backed by years of experience within the sector. And you are degree qualified, preferably Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, and/or Community Services.

Job description

As a Team Leader, you will:

  • Develop both your program and your team members to support young people to access opportunities that will help them live fulfilling, and productive lives.
  • Expand Anchor’s Youth Homelessness footprint, driving a culture of quality assurance and accountability.
  • Lead service improvement, as well as identify opportunities to create partnerships and relationships with community connections, seeking opportunities for young people.
  • Plan, design and deliver relevant programs that genuinely reflect our clients’ needs and voice.
  • Champion Anchor’s values, vision, and goals.

You will possess the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, or related field; post-graduate qualifications and/or 5+ years in staff management preferred.
  • Expertise in Trauma-Informed Practice, Advantaged Thinking, and client service networks.
  • Ability to foster a culture of innovation and collaborate with stakeholders.
