Provide general Domestic Assistance to our older population, providing them with the support they need to remain in their own homes.

Our Nambour Home and Community service is seeking part-time Service Support Workers in the Noosa Region. Our Service Support Workers provide invaluable support by providing general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support to our older population with help around their homes.

Positions available will be across the below areas:

  • Tewantin, Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Boreen Point, Sunshine Beach, Pomona, Cooran, Cooloola Cove/Tin Can Bay, Widgee, Kin Kin, Southside/Gympie, East Deep Creek.

We are looking for applicants that:

  • Are comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
  • Able to follow domestic care plans
  • A clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
  • Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
  • Physically fit, reliable, enthusiastic and friendly
  • A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required

Qualifications

  • Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
  • A current National Police Certificate
  • Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain)
