HR Business Partner - Preston

Anglicare Victoria
  • Show ambition for impact, without losing sight of humanity
  • Build relationships and get to know your front-line colleagues and senior managers
  • Anglicare Victoria offers a great team environment, where you will be supported to grow

Make a move:

If you’ve made it this far then you won’t need us to explain what a HR Business Partner does. What we would say is that if you’ve spent years developing your skills, have initiative, resilience, empathy and a genuine desire to put your HR and ER knowledge and skills to use in a complex organisation supporting vulnerable Children and Families based in Victoria, then you’re the right fit for AV and you will thrive in this environment.

Make you mark.

We are a dynamic and a sector leading not for profit organisation with a focus on the delivery of child, youth and family services. You’ll be able to put your skills to use with some of the sectors most dedicated and celebrated social care professionals, those who do their job for a purpose that we all believe in. Not only that but you’ll be able to focus on developing relationships and provide HR and ER support to a specific region, allowing you to get to know the staff and understand the specific culture and support needs.

You’ll work closely with our team of HR BP’s and be supported by General Managers with over 30 years of combined service with AV, as well as a P&C Team specialising in everything from Talent Acquisition and Learning to OH&S and Wellbeing.

It’s the behaviour of our team that dictates the culture. We are colleagues, we have each other’s backs, we share knowledge, skills and experience and we appreciate that it takes a lot to provide the support our front-line staff need and we work together to achieve that.

Make it work for you:

  • The total remuneration package of $132,827.91
  • This is a part time permanent role offering 22.8 hours. Please pro rata the above salary.
  • Flex to work hours that suit you, including 10am-3pm over 4 days to fit around the school run if that works better.
  • As a Not For Profit AV also offer salary packaging helping you significantly increase your take home pay.
  • Our HRBP’s go beyond reactive problem-solving. They align HR initiatives with business goals, acting as a critical partner to senior leaders to shape people strategies that support growth and agility.
  • We have a flexible, hybrid working culture so you can expect to work from the office in Preston but also from home, with some travel to other sites to connect with front line staff and the P&C Team
  • We are proud to be both a Rainbow tick and DCA accredited Organisation, so our inclusive culture is not only demonstrated but also recognised and celebrated.
  • Our people are our biggest asset, and we take wellbeing seriously with our Well Worth It program, discounted private health insurance, Fitness Passport, EIP and EAP access.

What our people say-“I've genuinely never thought about going to another organisation. The opportunities, the innovation, the commitment to change and working with vulnerable families, young people and communities. It sounds really cliche, but you come into this work to make a difference and you can do that here. We work really hard to make differences in those spaces.”
