The Program Manager provides operational management and leads the implementation of evidence-based programs, sector reform and high-quality innovative practice across a suite of Family Services and Community Services programs based at our Preston or Broadmeadows office. These programs include Family Support Services, Family Preservation and Reunification, Family Violence and a range of programs supporting local community.

Duties and responsibilities:

The role also involves promoting strong partnerships with key stakeholders to improve system responses for vulnerable families and community. This position is a member of the North Metro Management team and actively participates in strategic planning, shared learnings, implementing reform and quality practice within Anglicare Victoria.

The skills you will use day to day:

  • Experience leading teams in a previous management position
  • Experience working with vulnerable families (in any context)
  • A desire to bring new ideas to the table
  • Ability to work closely with stakeholders and discuss complex cases
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Child Protection
  • In depth understanding of family systems
  • In depth knowledge of theory relating to trauma, abuse and neglect.
  • Ability to manage program budgets
