  • Create innovative, fresh and impactful campaigns alongside marketing

What we do

Anglicare Victoria provides foster care for children and young people who are temporarily unable to live at home. Anglicare Victoria Home Based Care programs play a vital role in protecting children and young people by ensuring they have a safe and nurturing home while their family cannot care for them.

Regional programs have local Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Teams which are part of the wider Home Based Care (HBC) Programs, who work to recruit and retain foster carers as well as provide the required training and support to ensure volunteers have the skills required to undertake their role as foster carers.

Your role

As the Carer Recruitment Project Lead, you will be responsible for driving a strategic initiative to attract and retain high-quality carers for our foster care program. This role requires a passionate and dedicated individual with exceptional project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children and families in need.

Make your mark

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract potential foster carers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify and leverage innovative recruitment channels.
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to raise awareness and promote the foster care program.
  • Analyse recruitment data and metrics to continuously improve and refine recruitment efforts.
  • Foster strong relationships with the community, media, and relevant organisations to amplify reach and impact.

Make it work

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or marketing would be beneficial.
  • Experience in this role matters though, so please apply even if you don't have the Bachelor.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families.

If you are a driven and empathetic professional with a desire to contribute to meaningful change, we encourage you to apply for this role. Together, we can build a stronger and more supportive community for foster children and their families.

Those with a background in Community Services, particularly Out Of Home Care, and experience and understanding of the successful volunteer recruitment strategies would be highly regarded.
