Your role:

We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced, and driven Team Leader to oversee our Foster Care, Out-of-Home Care Intake, and Therapeutic Foster Care programs. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality care and support for children and families in need. Your leadership will help guide the intake process, foster placement strategies, and therapeutic services to promote stability and well-being

Make your mark:

  • Experience at a high level within children and families or ideally foster care
  • Ability to lead, develop and mentor others
  • Experience or knowledge of Best Interest Principles as outlined within the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
  • Ability to provide children and young people with supportive placements whilst maintaining safety
  • A commitment to working with vulnerable children young people and families who have experienced trauma
  • Strong in communication and decision making

Make it work:

  • You get a salary of $117,473.20.
  • Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.
  • SCHCADS award level 7.2
  • Full time, permanent.
