The Youth Accommodation Support Service (YASS) assists young people aged 15-19 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Katherine, Darwin, Palmerston, and nearby rural areas. They provide medium-term accommodation, outreach support, emergency financial assistance, advocacy, and community education to help these youths find stability and support.
The Case Manager Katherine Youth Accommodation Support Service (KYASS) provides culturally appropriate support and case management assistance to young people aged 15-25 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Using a strengths-based approach, the case manager provides accommodation, information, referrals, advocacy and group work to meet client needs, build capacity of young people, regional services systems and raise community awareness.
