The SHAK offers a safe and inclusive space for young people aged 10-17 years to connect, have a hot meal and take part in a variety of activities. It is open after-school and on Saturdays, with extended hours and programming on school holidays.
As the Program Manager you will mentor and supervise staff working in the SHAK Youth Centre to ensure the delivered services are culturally appropriate, trauma informed, and strength based. You will engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure young people and community needs are considered in the development and implementation of the SHAK Youth Centre program activities, and will be an effective collaborator, working closely with the Senior Manager Youth Services to strengthen the allocated service and undertake service improvement projects.
