About the Opportunity

You will be based in Katherine, NT and oversee diverse community services in Katherine and across the broader Big Rivers region. You will mentor senior staff, sustain teams, lead projects, and manage regional performance. Using strengths-based case management, quality care and tailored supports, teams will enable people and their families / carers to resolve challenges, build resilience and achieve their aspirations. You will partner with stakeholders to support community building and regional initiatives focused on building safe, inclusive, and thriving communities.

About YOU

The right candidate will be a highly capable and recognised leader in human services with extensive experience in casework, service coordination and operational management. Continuous improvement, collaborative approaches, social justice, and effective stakeholder engagement are in your DNA.

You understand the challenges, opportunities and what it takes to strengthen service systems and provide quality supports in regional areas. You respect lived experience, value diversity, understand the issues that impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and are skilled at navigating complexity.

Remuneration

In return for your drive, commitment, and contribution you will be part of an innovative organisation and join the Anglicare NT Leadership Team where shared decision-making is valued.   • SCHADS Base Salary Level 8 
  • Five weeks annual leave
  • Salary packaging an additional $15,900 per annum
  • Relocation assistance (if relocating from outside of Katherine)

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must provide 100 points of identification to confirm Australian citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia; possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a current National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a valid NT driver’s licence.

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
