Reporting to the Executive Manager P&C, the P&C Operations Manager will be fulfilling a 13-month parental leave contract and is accountable for a range of business critical process and system improvement projects to ensure the effective utilisation of P&C resources and a robust P&C ecosystem.
This role will be joining Annecto at an exciting time as we voyage into the new Aged Care Support at Home program, implement our brand new EBA and associated benefits, develop a standalone P&C executive function, launch our 2025-2027 Strategic Plan and move to our vibrant new Docklands office.
Role Responsibilities & Deliverables
Leadership
- Manage, mentor and support 3 direct reports and provide guidance and support to the Lead Business Partner
- Partner with other key functional teams/managers such as L&D and OD, IT, Payroll and Marketing to ensure optimized operations
- Contribute to and participate in the leadership of the P&C team and business critical P&C projects
- Delegated approval and oversight of employment lifecycle activities such as recruitment, variations and low-risk terminations
Process and Practice Improvement
- Critically review recruitment and employee-lifecycle related process workflows and oversee workflow development/implementation to improve efficiency and staff experience
- Lead the continuous improvement of P&C operational practice including the embedding of reviewed Policies and Procedures, implementation of best practice administration and the development of knowledge management/business continuity processes
- Support the P&C Manager in review and development of P&C Policies and Procedures
Systems
- Ensure all P&C systems including HRIS and ATS are leveraged optimally to promote operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure the effective implementation or integration of new systems or platforms, intervening to remove blockages where required
Compliance
- Drive continuous improvement and P&C team preparation for Aged Care, Disability and ISO9001 annual re-certification audits
- Conduct regular internal audits for P&C life-cycle activities
- Oversee a compliance improvement action plan for Support Worker accreditations such as safety screening checks and mandatory training
Reporting
- Lead the development of P&C reporting dashboards
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly P&C reports and analysis/response to key reporting metrics
- Ensure submission of annual reviews or reports such as Workplace Gender Equality reporting and annual wage review
Selection Criteria
- At least 5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within Community Services or Healthcare sector within Australia
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience with:
- People leadership
- P&C system implementation, optimization and/or configuration, including ATS and HRIS platforms
- P&C metrics and reporting
- Complex audit programmes, including ISO9001
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Proficient understanding of employment law, modern awards and HR policies
- Sound analytical thinking and problem solving skills
