Through Annecto Housing and Support, we provide individuals with the opportunity to live independently in a home of their choice. Our homes are equipped with specialised infrastructure and assistive technology, ensuring tenants can enjoy maximum independence with minimal support.

About the position

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker with expertise in complex support needs and positive behaviour support. In this role, you will be a vital part of a dedicated team focused on helping people with disabilities thrive in a home environment. You will provide person-centred support to enable individuals to live independently, while promoting dignity, respect, and personal choice.

What do we need from you?

  • Genuine Passion for supporting people with disabilities
  • Availability to work the fortnightly rostering line for minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or similar
  • Experience assisting individuals with complex support needs & challenging behaviours
  • Experience with providing personal care, including the use of equipment eg: hoists, shower chairs and beds. 
  • Knowledge and the ability to apply safe manual handling practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with Annecto’s COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
  • Current First Aid (with minimum 6 months left until expiry)
  • Current CPR (with minimum 3 months until expiry)
  • Completed NDIS Quality, Safety & You module
  • A current and valid Victorian Driver’s License

Rostering Line Week 1: (20.5 hours)

  • Monday: 6:00am to 10:00am (4 hrs)
  • Thursday: 1:30pm to 5:30pm, 6:00pm to 8:00pm (6 hrs)
  • Friday: 5:30pm to 8:00pm, 9:00pm to 10:00pm, 10:00pm to 11:00pm, 11:00pm to 11:30pm (5 hrs)
  • Saturday: 6:30am to 10:00am, 10:30am to 12:30pm (5.5 hrs)

Rostering Line Week 2: (20.5 hours)

  • Monday: 5:30pm to 8:00pm, 9:00pm to 10:00pm, 10:00pm to 11:00pm, 11:00pm to 11:30pm (5 hrs)
  • Tuesday: 6:00am to 10:00am (4 hrs)
  • Thursday: 1:30pm to 5:30pm, 6:00pm to 8:00pm (6 hrs)
  • Saturday: 6:30am to 10:00am, 10:30am to 12:30pm (5.5 hrs)
