We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Support Workers to join our team to provide Home Care Packages. You will be very well supported in this important, front-line role.

What’s important to you?

• Salary $38 - $41 per hour (including casual loading) plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options
• Multiple positions available to work within the ACT and Queanbeyan;

You will have:

• The ability to provide proof of full Covid vaccination including the booster
• A strong desire to provide quality client service and the ability to build rapport with clients;
• Flexibility and the ability to be adaptive
• Ability to provide assistance with a range of tasks including transport, light housework, meal preparation and personal care (if qualified)
• A highly professional attitude and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner
• A current police check less than 3 months old or willingness to undertake one with Annecto
• A current First Aid (with 6 months to run) and CPR Qualifications (with 3 months to run) or willingness to complete prior to employment
• A current driver's license and your own transport vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• A smart phone or tablet
• A current Working with Vulnerable People Card or willingness to obtain one
• Work rights to work in Australia

It would be great if you had:

• Similar experience in a similar organisation
• A relevant qualification
• Ability to speak a community language
