Sustainable Farms is an innovative project supporting improvements in landscape function on farms to conserve biodiversity. You will be involved in collecting high quality biophysical data and supporting the team to share research findings with the community through field days, workshops, papers, and public seminars.
Applications are invited from individuals who love to be in the field conducting biodiversity surveys and who have good vertebrate identification skills. The successful candidate will be well organised, proactive and interested in developing their knowledge of restoration ecology from the evidence collected in over 20 years of long term monitoring of biodiversity in the temperate woodlands of eastern Australia.

Through cutting-edge research and insightful analysis, our academic experts create social, economic and environmental impact and deliver real-world solutions to address complex environmental challenges.
This position is based in Wagga Wagga and you will report to the Sustainable Farms Field Ecologist based in Wagga Wagga Office. You will also work closely with both project staff within the university and in regional locations, along with Landowners, external partners in Local Land Services and Land care groups.
