About ANZCA:
The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) is the professional medical body in Australia and New Zealand responsible for the training, examinations, specialist qualification and continuing professional development of all anaesthetists in Australia and New Zealand.
About the role:
Our Safety and Advocacy unit is currently seeking a confident and organised Policy and Partnerships Coordinator with experience providing stakeholder engagement and promotional activity administrative support in a professional services environment.
The major purpose of the Policy and Partnerships Coordinator is to engage with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness and understanding of the Specialist Training Program, develop strong collaborative partnerships with the stakeholders, promote the program and to develop rural STP training post opportunities.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification in public health, policy or related field.
- Sound grant administration experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills and experience, the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, influence and facilitate collaborative outcomes.
- Demonstrated project planning and event management experience
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills enabling effective interaction and clear communication of ideas and concepts verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to research, conceptualise and synthesise information and think strategically
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong initiative and self-leadership, the ability to work effectively without direct supervision
- Intermediate to advanced MS Word, Outlook and Excel and the aptitude to quickly gain expertise with in-house systems
This role requires regular interstate travel, including attendance at meetings and conferences outside of normal business hours.
Commonwealth health grant administration experience, and a sound understanding of the Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines, would be highly regarded.
