About the role

In this new position, Apace is seeking a Communications & Partnerships Administrator, to join the dynamic team at Apace, who work collaboratively across all functions of the organisation. 

Your terms and conditions of employment will be based at Grade 4 of the Nursery Award 2020.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • You will build strong relationships and engagement with our partners, public, customers and stakeholders. 
  • You will action communication initiatives for Apace and enhance our social media profile.
  • You will support nursery sales management, events management and training logistics.

Skills and experience

  • Ability to action communications strategies and information across all platforms, traditional and digital.
  • Strong organisational skills in documentation and data management.
  • Experience in events planning and logistical management.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite and design software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
  • Experience with Xero or other accounting software.

Apace is a community based not for profit organisation operating since 1982 to promote sustainable local development that is environmentally sound and socially beneficial. The principal purpose of Apace is to preserve, protect and enhance the biodiversity of the native plants of Western Australia.

Apace provides a range of activities for community benefit, including the operation of a Community Garden. These activities promote environmental sustainability while supporting community wellbeing. Training, education, and support for the disadvantaged are focal points of the organisation, including people disadvantaged through disability, poverty, sickness or unemployment.
