arbias is a progressive organisation that works with individuals with an acquired brain injury and complex needs, specialising in alcohol and other drug brain impairment. arbias operates across both Victoria and NSW and is a leader in service provision to people with an ABI.

A key objective of this service is to work with people who are in crisis and at risk of alienating their support networks, becoming isolated from the community or homeless.

The Practice Leader-Housing will work with individuals living in independent, community based housing options to increase their informal networks and to encourage and support community integration options using person centred planning principles and person directed practice.

The Practice Leader will:

• Oversee the practice standards across the housing and community integration programs
• Ensure quality service provision at the service level
• Ensure the implementation of high standards of goal setting and outcome measurement and participate at the practice level in the evaluation of standards and practice across arbias housing services.

The Practice Leader will be responsible for

• Provide practical leadership, mentoring and coaching to housing staff on person centred planning and person directed services
• Provide practical active 'hands on' training and mentoring to residential staff in all aspects of personal care.
• Provide mentoring and support a team of staff in person centred principles as well as day to day service operation.
