Responsibilities:

• Attend job sites assigned in a punctual manner.
• Keep work area tidy and clean.
• Liaising with Project Managers, Director and Supervisors regarding electrical work required.
• Examining blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation.
• Measuring and laying out installation reference points.
• Selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors.
• Using electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults.
• Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts.
• Positioning and installing electrical switchboards.
• Connecting electrical systems to power supply.
• Testing continuity of circuit.
• Complete breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting & support.
• Completing adhoc jobs around the workshop.

Job requirements:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician including at least two years of on-the-job training or Diploma of Applied Electrical.
• Minimum Restricted Electrical Worker's licence (REL) required.
• Asbestos Class A or B tickets required.
• White card required.
• Working with Children's Check.
• Full driver's license required (able to drive a manual vehicle preferred but not essential).
• Registrations and licenses is required.
• Up to date Medical assessment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
