We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing team. Our collaborative and passionate team is dedicated to providing students with the education opportunities they need. In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading our digital marketing efforts, including strategy development, content creation, campaign management, and performance analysis. This is a Sydney based, full-time permanent position (1 FTE).
The Role:
As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead School Plus’ integrated digital marketing and communications strategy, using your expertise to engage and inspire a broader audience of supporters, educators, and stakeholders. In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage all digital channels, including website, social media, email, and paid advertising.
- Set measurable goals, track performance, and adjust strategies to maximise impact.
- Lead content creation and manage integrated digital campaigns to drive awareness and engagement.
- Plan and manage the digital marketing calendar.
- Write and oversee email marketing campaigns with segmentation and personalisation.
- Create compelling content for online and offline channels, including reports and event materials.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Government Relations team to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Work with the web hosting agency to maintain and update the website.
- Regularly update website content to keep it relevant and informative.
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Use data and analytics to measure performance and inform decision-making.
- Generate regular reports on activities and campaign performance.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
The successful applicant will have
- 5+ years of experience in integrated digital marketing, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
- Demonstrated success in leading and executing digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics.
- Proficiency in content management systems, social media management tools, email marketing platforms, and Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and paid social advertising
- Experience in WordPress, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Yoast preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work independently but within a strong collaborative team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and measure campaign performance.
- A passion for education and social impact.
- Experience in NFP sector is preferred but not required
The successful candidate will be required to have a Working with Children's Check.
