Aspect Choose and Connect: 

Community based and individualised services for people on the autism spectrum. The focus is on the development of individual programs based on the specific interests, wants and needs of each individual.

About this role: 

The NDIS Administration Assistant is responsible for contributing to the effective operation of the Choose and Connect group, and supporting the operational and project needs of the Manager, Choose and Connect. The role is integral to the success of the group and covers a number of key areas and tasks. To view the full position profile, please click here.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop Service Agreements and Schedule of Supports with information provided by Regional Coordinators
  • Create service bookings through the NDIA portal for all participants
  • Set up participants shifts on Salesforce in line with NDIS funding agreements
  • Ensure all details and information that is entered into Salesforce is current and accurate
  • Respond to service enquiries and requests
  • Communicate and liaise with key stakeholders, services users, families, staff and advocates

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and participants NDIS plans
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in administration or business administration or relevant industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Demonstrable IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using Client Management Systems such as Salesforce would be highly regarded
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective administrative systems and processes
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team member
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check for paid employment
  • Current valid driver’s licence and use of own vehicle for business purposes

A National Police Check clearance is a requirement and Aspect will arrange this. Completion of the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ is also required. If you have not already completed the module, click here to access it. You may be required to provide an International Police Check clearance.
