Selection will be made at the P2 or P3 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.
As an Anthropologist in a dynamic team, you will be responsible undertaking anthropological fieldwork research to meet the objectives of the Authority such as the registration of sacred sites and research related to the issuing of Authority Certificates to ensure the protection of sacred sites. The role includes consulting with Aboriginal custodians on country in remote settings.
Selection will be made at the P2 (Anthropologist) or P3 (Senior Anthropologist) level depending on the skills, qualifications, and Northern Territory regional expertise of the successful applicant.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to expand their applied anthropology skills in a region that is full of cultural heritage and beautiful landscapes, working with Aboriginal Custodians on country. There is also opportunity for people to develop their skills so if you have just completed your studies, the Alice Springs region will provide you with a small supportive team that will provide one on one training and mentoring to grow your skills in applied anthropology.
