Katherine High School is the only government secondary school in Katherine. It provides an educational service to students from Year 7 to Year 12. In the Senior Years students are provided with multiple achievement pathways to ensure they receive the education most appropriate to their needs. The school caters to a diverse population from a range of different social, educational and cultural backgrounds. Katherine High School has an offsite program, Katherine Flexible Learning and Engagement Centre and provides an alternate program for disengaged and at risk teenagers in the Katherine area. As an English and humanities teacher and member of the school community, develop, deliver and evaluate learning programs and monitor student achievement to address individual learning needs and contribute to the achievement of the school’s goals.
