  • Nurse Level 5 - Remuneration Package Range $140,451 - $146,283
    Comprising salary $121,044 - $126,127 superannuation, leave loading and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave

  • Full time - Fixed for 6 months

This position provides a recognised reference point for the multi-disciplinary team in relation to assessment, planning, review, evaluation and coordination of service delivery in clinical nurse management for groups and individuals with diverse requirements

Employing extensive experience, skills and knowledge and holding current vaccination, remote emergency, and maternity emergency management certification, the successful applicant will have a demonstrated understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal health, principles of Primary Health Care and relevant legislation governing work practice in the remote setting, and will be responsible for the operational and personnel management of a Remote Health Centre.

The position is based in Borroloola and applicants will be required to participate in a 24/7 emergency on call roster with the ability to provide relief in other remote sites at short notice. Applicants must have experience driving a manual vehicle and have or be eligible to obtain an NT driver’s licence. Regional travel will be by light aircraft and/or 4WD.
