An opportunity has become available for a skilled nursing professional to join the leadership team at Gove District Hospital as the Nurse Unit Manager for Ward One.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced clinical nurse to lead and manage our General Medical, Surgical, and Paediatric ward. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary environment while ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and the broader community. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational, clinical, and professional aspects of the unit, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of care within a culturally safe framework possessing strong clinical and administrative skills.

As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated healthcare professionals in providing compassionate and evidence-based care to a diverse patient population, including children and adults with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. You will be committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful environment where cultural safety is a priority, ensuring that care is delivered in a way that acknowledges and respects the cultural values, beliefs, and needs of all patients, their families, and staff.
