About us

The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) is the national regulator of charities, and we maintain a free online searchable register of charity information. 

As the only government agency working exclusively with charities, we contribute to public trust and confidence, work to support independence and innovation, and promote the reduction of unnecessary regulatory obligations in the sector. 

We assess new applications for registration, provide guidance and resources to promote good charity governance, and help charities meet their obligations. We also investigate concerns, taking action where necessary.

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic team leaders to join our Registration or Advice Services team.

As a Team Leader, within the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) you will provide expert advice and support to meet team and agency objectives.You will lead a team and provide guidance to support staff and continuous improvement.

Your duties

• Collaborate to deliver projects and services
• Set expectations for high performance
• Provide expert advice on charity legislation, case law, and policy

Skills and experience

• Knowledge of charity legislation, case law, and policy
• Possesses leadership qualities
• Technical knowledge of service delivery functions
• Has strong client service skills to communicate with various audiences
• Can contribute to innovative business improvement strategies
