About the role

We are seeking a full-time dentist to join our expanding mobile dental truck service. In this role, you will work in our newly remodelled mobile dental truck, providing preventative and restorative treatments to students across schools in the Logan/Brisbane region. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while delivering quality dental care in a dynamic and engaging environment. Upon successful completion of the probation period, the right candidate will have the opportunity to obtain an HR truck license to support the movement of the mobile dental truck.

Duties

  • Provide skilled dental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to clients.
  • Provide professional support to oral health therapists and fellow providers.
  • Understanding of the principles of oral health care and the ability to work with a wide variety of professionals and the public, as part of a team to achieve results.
  • Commit to ongoing continuous quality improvement processes with annual reviews into the efficiency of service provision.

COVID-19 Requirements

  • Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a COVID -19 vaccine is encouraged.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Dental Science or Equivalent.
  • Registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Experience supervising Dental students.
  • Known Blood Borne Viral Status including HIV, Hepatitis B, and C antibody levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
  • Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes.
  • Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.
  • Willing to obtain National Police Check.
  • Indemnity Insurance.
