The Role
The Sales Representative is typically the first in-person contact for new and prospective clients and must be prepared to invest in building relationships and supporting these clients through to conversion. It is expected that the Sales Representative will meet with 2-3 new clients each day. Therefore, the ability to manage competing priorities, manage time and effectively prioritize and follow up on tasks is critical.
Day to day tasks for the Sales Representative include:
- Manage pre-booked meetings from the inside sales team
- Establish a strong understanding of and be able to clearly articulate the My Aged Care process from registration and assessment through to package allocation and selecting a provider
- Build positive relationships with prospective clients, regardless of where they are in the Home Care Packages process, positioning Aunty Grace as the trusted advisor for clients seeking home care and services
- Maintain a solid understanding of competitor activity and be able to effectively position Aunty Grace as the provider of choice
- Develop a clear understanding of Aunty Grace’s customer value proposition/unique selling proposition and be able to communicate this effectively
- Transition new/converted clients to the Operations team so that new client expectations are met and exceeded
You will have:
- Experience in a B2C sales environment, in-home sales, solution-based sales
- A person-centered approach to sales and client education
- Ability to manage client relationships and manage expectations
- A professional, courteous and friendly communication style
- A collaborative, problem-solving approach to working with clients, representatives, team members, suppliers and other stakeholders
- A flexible and adaptable approach that embraces continuous improvement and change, which contributes to Aunty Grace’s growth
- A National Criminal History Check / Police Check showing no disclosable Court Outcomes or Convictions, and no greater than 3 years since the date of issue
Desirable:
- Experience working within or demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards framework
- Understanding of Home Care Packages legislation and guidelines
